The mountains tea is one the most popular aromatic plants of the Greek countryside and its cultivation goes back to ancient times. It is also characterized for its analgesic, antioxidants and therapeutic properties. During our cultivation all the stages of the growing procedure is done by hand, whereas the drying of the plants takes place in a specially converted oven so that the plants will keep their aroma and colour unchanging. The storage of the tea is carried out in privately owned storerooms in Velvendo Kozanis and the final product is sold both on retail and wholesale. The ANiMA tea is certified as biological by the inspection organization and by the certification for biological produce organization DIO (Inspection and Certification Organization of Organic Products) .The propagation material used is also biological and we obtained it from “ Ktima Vioma”.
